Last year, a friend of mine opened an Indian restaurant in Wenzhou. In order to ensure the original flavor, the ingredients and chefs came from India. However, after a period of excitement during the opening activities, the operation has been sluggish for a long time, and finally it is because of the epidemic situation. Therefore, we sigh that in China, Indian restaurants can only be opened in cities like Yiwu.
When I was in India, I knew that many Indians do business in Yiwu. I heard them say that Yiwu is the largest wholesale market for small commodities in the world. There are no things you can't buy, only things you can't think of. It takes you a month to visit that place. Before I arrived in Yiwu, I can't imagine that Europe can travel for seven days. Is a small commodity market bigger than Europe? Later, when I went to study in China, a friend who was doing business in Yiwu invited me to play in Yiwu, and I ran there with great interest.

When I arrived in Yiwu, my first exclamation was how there were so many villagers. Later, I thought it was because the Indian villagers took me there. I must have come to the local Indian settlement. Along the way, I saw more than a dozen Indian restaurants. Although they were small, their business was good. It can support so many Indian restaurants, which shows that there are so many Indians here.
The second sigh is that Yiwu Commodity market is really big. Although it's not as big as Europe, it's still bigger than I thought. It's really not a problem to visit for ten days and a half months. I doubt how everyone can find the goods they want in such a big place and so many stores. My friend told me that's why there are so many intermediaries to help contact buyers and sellers. The first group of Indians came from Yiwu bosses to use their English advantages to find global customers.

I know several villagers who do business in Yiwu. They don't do much business. Many of them work for their relatives. The Indian I know who has lived in Yiwu for the longest time has been for more than 20 years. At first, he worked as a translator for the boss of Yiwu, and then married a Chinese daughter-in-law. So the couple opened their own intermediary company to contact buyers and sellers and earn commissions as middlemen. He also brought several relatives, and the friend who brought me here was his nephew. Now, he has made enough money, not as hard as when he was young. Now he basically spends half his time in Yiwu and half his time in India, because his daughter has attended primary and secondary schools in Yiwu and now goes to university in India.
Many Indians settled down in Yiwu and lived in harmony with the local people. Some lucky young men also married Chinese daughter-in-law and gave birth to lovely children. In India, people often think differently because of their religious beliefs. In Yiwu, everyone only cares about business and works hard every day to create better economic conditions for their families. In Yiwu, there is no distinction between Brahmans, chadilis and other castes, and there is no saying that they are born high and low. If low caste Indians have the opportunity to come here, they can also make their families live a rich life by trying to seize the opportunity. Yiwu is a place where these Indians can realize their dreams.

Recently, I asked several friends in Yiwu. They said that their business was greatly affected by the epidemic. It was not easy for everyone in the past six months. However, China has basically controlled the epidemic and business has slowly recovered recently. In short, it can be expected in the future. Yiwu is still the city that gives people unlimited hope.
